Phone element

Would love to see a way for the dashes to automatically be in the phone element. When I enter a phone number from my iPhone, that element brings up a numbers keyboard as opposed to the regular keyboard with all the letter/numbers/symbols. The number keyboard does not have a "-" available so user can't even key it in. Placeholder in this case is useless.
